Milton Motion rode along with Golden Boy Promotion's fighter Antonio Orozco up to Los Angeles to capture his afternoon taping of a Ford Focus commercial with Oscar De La Hoya. The shoot took place at the City of Angels Boxing Gym near downtown Los Angeles and concluded with a short bio interview in Burbank with Estrella TV. Also on hand for the shoot was fellow GBP Fighter Jason Quigley. Both Fighters seemed to have a blast hanging out and trading some stories with the Golden Boy himself. Huge THANK YOU to Antonio Orozco and Carlos Barragan for having me along to capture some stills. For more info on Antonio Orozco, please follow the link below and keep an eye out for this future CHAMPION.
This is a showcase video I shot and edited for ENF for this year's Harvest for Hope fundraiser. The video was showcased just before their live auction and was received well. I was honored to give time to such a great cause and a family of amazing people.
Here are some shots I took for the Emilio Nares Foundation at this year's Harvest for Hope 2016. I am grateful to be working with such an amazing foundation that is making major impacts in so many children affected by cancer. This year, I took stills for the event (portfolio here), as well as shot and edited a video that ENF was able to present to their supporters at the event. The video was a success and they were able to raise money for their foundation. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY that they were able to have me as part of this event.
Had the pleasure of capturing a few shots of San Diego model April O. The shoot took place in San Diego, CA at Windansea Beach. We were hoping for a clear and crisp day but were dealt a heavy marine layer that added some dramatic elements to the shots. Enjoy!
Okay folks, this was a tough one. Imagine standing side by side to some of San Diego's finest dishes and not being allowed to dip into the pot and have a little taste. Not just side by side, but over and around, as well as millimeters from my lens. Last week, Savor Catering had an afternoon tasting with the Mayor of Chula Vista. I showed up with my camera in hand and captured images of the food being prepped and plated. Enjoy the shots and we will hopefully one day be able to bring you a scratch n' sniff version of this post, because it smelled amazing.
Took the Gallardo Family out to WIndansea Beach to shoot capture some family pics. The shoot was initially scheduled as a couple shoot, but with Victor Jr. tagging along, we decided to have him stand in for a beautiful shot.
Helped with the creation and launch of the Inside the Food Biz website for their weekly podcast. I am also handling production of the episodes by editing and publishing for the client. This is an entertaining behind the scenes look into the food and beverage industry. Please click on the picture or link above to visit their show.
Here are some sample shots from a recent headshot session. This session was taken outdoors in a park in Encinitas, just before sunset. We ran out of time and should be back in a studio soon.
Spent the evening with Mini Schnauzer Nikko and his owner Rick. We shot at local beach, Windansea and I couldn't have asked for a more obedient little guy than Nikko. She jumped up on a rock and allowed me to capture him in his regal poses.
Part of Milton's Trigger & Cut sessions, I shot a promo clip for Anguish Microbrew with Frank Luna. We set some parameters to challenge ourselves: one camera, a single subject, one location, shot within an hour, edited immediately after, and SHORT SHORT SHORT! Well, this is what we came up with. Being the company was born in San Diego and it being such a beautiful beach town, we thought "Beach!" The clip was shot at the beautiful Windansea Beach in a tiny private cove at sunset. After an hour and one majorly stubbed toe, here is our piece. Enjoy.
As always, drink responsibly. The guy in this video, obviously, drank way too much.

Shot some video for a local Lucha Libre production company. They asked us to capture some clips of legendary Mexican wrestler Santos' son, Hijo de Santos.
Took some stills at one of Carolina Panther's running back Mike Tolbert's last workouts in his 2016 off-season. These are a few shots from his workout with Coach Dale Soliven at the House of Boxing in San Diego, CA.
I was asked to come in and revamp a website that had been in the creation process for over a few months. The client was asking if I could come in and create a few pages and implement a deposit payment system so that their customers could go in and place a deposit for their services. I had the site up and running within a week and after a week and a half or so of changes, I had the site up and running strong. The client's sales team was in deep need of the site to direct their clients to the site to secure dates and business.
Just a little behind the scenes info. I advised the client to secure their URL and purchased hosting from SquareSpace. From there I took a theme and tore it down to build it back up to the client's needs. I also connected all social media links and added a Wedding Wire banner so that their clients could be directed to a source of their reviews.
Here is a link to the site:
Worked with a local artist on some branding and marketing ideas. Since a portion of Milton Motion is based in professional sports, I felt that it was appropriate to combine both the aspect of motion and embody it within a throwback comic styled character. I added a logo into the lens of the character to show the roots of my beginnings in Friends vs. Foes.
I was asked to create a website for San Diego podcaster and influencer Ruben Torres for his new podcast Connected with Ruben Torres.
Testing the stabilization of the CAME-TV Single. Straight from the box. No stabilization was applied in post. My focus was solely on stabilization only.
Big Thank You to cheesycam.com for the recommendation. I love this unit. Calibration was only a few minutes out of the case. It's a solid unit.

Here is a small video project I shot alongside Frank Luna, for client Shelley Rahim.
I had the honor of helping the Emilio Nares Foundation a few weeks back. We met up at Rady's Children's Hospital to take some shots of a new t-shirt that ENF has created, which enables young cancer patients to receive their medication without the inconvenience of removing their shirts. The t-shirt allows the nurses to access the young patient's port by simply unsnapping the upper left side of the shirt and connecting the port. It's a fast and easy way to handle the processing without making the patient feel uncomfortable.
They are receiving donations which will allow them to provide patients with these t-shirts and they are hopeful that they can raise enought to get this geniusly designed t-shirt to all patients. This shoot consisted of me shooting their model and patient in two differently sponored t-shirts of both the San Francisco Giants and the San Diego Padres. They will be using the shots for collateral related to promoting and gaining more sponsorship.
The little model I worked with was awesome and was a natural in front of the camera. She was such a positive force in the room and not shy in any way. I was informed that her health is improving and I could see that. We wish her and her family all the best.
This was a great way to give back and I feel blessed to help them. ENF helps families in Orange County, San Diego, and the Imperial Valley with both counseling and transportation to and from their doctor's appointments. Please follow the link and help support in any way you can.
HUGE THANK YOU to Richard Nares, Heidi Cramer, and the whole ENF Team.
We recently spent three days in the heart of Hollywood documenting the creation of an 11'x25' mural for musician Zac Brown band. He will be releasing a new album on the 28th of April and his label wanted to create a mural to promote the release. Our amigo, "Tazroc" took to the wall with his partner/son Emmanuel and fellow artist Asylum. I was an interesting three days of shooting some time-lapse and video footage, as we encountered everything from pro athletes, fashion hipsters, and good hearted homeless chaps. If you are in need of amazing mural work such as this, hit us up and we can connect you with Taz and the ICU team. It was a pleasure to work with ICU and we look forward to releasing the video of the process. Meanwhile, enjoy some snaps of the completed piece.
Shot and edited this promo video for my mechanic in Encinitas, CA.
